ghn's 8051 page
Some folks (including other page-maintainers) seem to have
abandoned the 8051, but it's still great and cost-effective little
tool for a wide range of applications. There are much more complete
resources on these beasties done by others, so I think it's best to
just point you there.
- Paul
Stoffregen's web site is excellent, and has thrived for years
despite going through a series of different locations.
- Russ Hersch maintains the
8051 FAQ
(also at MIT). It includes a list of development tools.
- Dallas Semiconductor is here:
http://www.dalsemi.com
- Intel used to have 8051
Information, but the keep changing their website to make it impossible
to link to stuff. They also like to discontinue documentation for
products even when the products are still available.
- Philips Semiconductor is here:
http://www.philips.com
- Siemens AG made some 8051
class devices.
